Happy Birthday, Daddy!

I had lots of fun making Daddy's birthday cake!

My egg without a shell! Cool! This is after a couple days in sugar water. It was supposed to be corn syrup, but we didn't have any...so I tried salt water first. Then sugar water.

Then blue water...

I think this might be salt that moved thru the membrane then perhaps remade itself on the inside...

I let Will decorate it with Sharpies then drizzled alcohol on it to let the colors run...definitely learned a few things about how to make it better next time, but overall very cool!

Spinach from the deck...pecans from my parents'. Yum!
