Tails...

Lincoln ate my bread!!! My free bread. Gone. We already had bread in the bread box so it was on the counter...not at the edge mind you...and we found the empty bag in the yard!! GRRR!! Oh well, at least it was free :-)

He was very well behaved at the lake today though...just sat under the tree watching the world go by like his momma used to do.

Will had a grand time at the lake too. He's really into "kicking" and blowing bubbles - he even practices in the bathtub.

We went to the Rock Hill fresh market yesterday and investigated all the produce...home grown watermelons, peaches, corn, roses - lots of good stuff. There were even some people making strawberry and blueberry donuts. Delicious!!! When we got home and were eating dinner, Will kept asking incessantly for something like "koi, koi." Finally, I asked if he wanted a piece of my donut and he thought about it for a moment, the recognition spread across his face, he grinned and said, "Donut?" I think he thought donuts were called corn. He's doing better than I would be learning so many words at once! Although I guess I did it once upon a time too :-)

It's official...

I think I can get my title as Coupon Princess-in-training.

Tonight at HT I spent $19.47 and saved $35...not including the clearance markdown on the Aveeno sunscreen and a "special" item not pictured - about $10 off their regular prices. (Andy hasn't seen it yet :-) )

So here's my picture - cause that's what all the Coupon Queens do :-)

If I was really inspired, I'd break down my costs and such for you, but I guess that's why I'm in training still ;-)

My best deals were - FREE bread; $1/box Nilla wafers; $0.50 Pantene conditioner; 1 FREE deodorant and 1 for $0.50!

The ice cream and Reynolds non-stick were okay prices - not great - so they messed up my total a bit, but as I sit here enjoying my Cookie-n-cream, it was TOTALLY worth it!

Some pictures...

Will thoroughly enjoys twisting sock monkey's hair :-)
Will's posing with the fun sign Andy (and I) made for Leland and Lydia's wedding weekend.
Will had a most excellent time playing in the pirate ship water table at Crosby's 3rd birthday.

One awesome tractor at the strawberry farm!

Ride 'em cowboy!

What's in the bag?

Easter egg hunt! He got one in the basket all by himself!

Some great pictures Carol's friend Judy took at the wedding.

I love it!

2 out of 3 :-)

My handsome boy...

Cabbage (or strawberry) patch Will.

We ate a lot of strawberries that day...and yes it is a leash :-)

Last summer...my how they've grown.

A stroll down memory lane...

Crosby's checking it out.

The Stories of Sir William Alexander

Will was laying on the floor with his feet on Lincoln's back during the thunderstorm last night. Occasionally he would start "running" and I would have to tell him to stop kicking Lincoln and be gentle. Eventually, I told him that if he kicked Lincoln one more time, he would have to go to time out...He stopped to process, "ran" one more time, then jumped up and ran over to "timeout corner" and put his head in, then turned around grinning to show us how proud he was that he figured it out.

Today Will stood on one leg for a couple seconds during his winding down laps around the house. Andy and I were impressed he could balance that long so we tried to get him to "stand on one leg," "pick up your foot," etc. He figured out what we were asking and picked up one foot, realized he was unstable then went over to the table to hold on and stood there grinning from ear to ear with his foot high in the air.

Will's newest shirt says I <3 Cheerios. I showed him that the dot on the i was a Cheerio and he leaned down to eat it saying "bite."
