I'm a model!!

I got a haircut today at one of the fancy pants people salons - the stylists were doing a class and they were looking for "models." I signed myself up and got a free haircut! I'm not sure why he wanted me in that lighting for the pictures, but whatever...I'm pleased with it so far - hopefully it will hold up for the air-dried look :-)

I want this dress! The lady bugs are pockets!!! How cool is that?!?!

We went to the Columbia zoo yesterday and Easter Egg hunting today.  Good times!

Long-weekend fun!

Our friends the Genaos came into town for good times!

The kids and Tricia and I went exploring uptown Charlotte on the lightrail and the trolley while the men were learning how to bring things back to the cave Dave Ramsey style. (Tricia's camera has the better documentation. There are actually a couple where you can see everyone's face and one or more people are smiling!!)

I'm a gardener!!

Yes they're in flower pots so I can chase the sun around all day to get the 6-8 hours needed...

Seemed kind of strange to pick some leaves in the backyard, wash, and put in a bowl...

Will thought it was strange to be eating leaves too.

He wasn't impressed with spinach sans dressing (and cheese and craisins.)

Add some toppings and dinner looks pretty good to me!

Here goes nothing! Well, hopefully nothing. If I end up in the emergency room with food poisoning or some strange tropically disease tonight, bring the plants on the deck with me!

I told Will to give it a thumbs up. Two index fingers still means "it's tasty." Right?

We worked on which one is his thumb.
