A VERY important day for Will!

August 16, 2009 Andy and I stood with Will before God, our family and friends, and the congregation of Good Shepherd UMC and publicly promised that we will do everything we can to lead him to choose Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he is able to make the decision himself. While we prayed at home shortly after Will was born and thanked God for sending us His child that we get to love, teach, and guide, it was wonderful and very touching that so many people came to support us in our decision and celebrate this day with us. Thank you all! We really appreciate the lengths you went through to support us.

Family and friends
Will is wearing a gown from ~1885. It has been worn for dedications, baptisms, and christenings of the Kennedy side of the family for many, many years. We were glad to share in the traditions of a family with such strong roots.

We love you all! Thank you for helping us celebrate our public declaration for Will's future.

Wow! That is a lot of support. How special for everyone to come. The gown is amazing too. I hope he didn't spit up on it! I just have to add that I like your shoes Stacy. Very nice!
